Full of heart and humor, this picture book follows the adventures of a well-meaning grizzly bear who tries to help her forest friends, but always seems to unknowingly do the opposite. It's both a "silly story of a goofy bear," great for getting little ones to laugh. And also subtly about the risks of perceiving some people as a "threat" when they may not be. "Looks can be deceiving." Also, has some similarities to GRUMPY MONKEY.
A colleague showed this to her niece, and said she LOVED IT and found it VERY funny. The scared expressions on the other animals' faces were very easy to interpret
Contrary to her ferocious image, this grizzly bear proves you can't always judge a book by its cover, and her unconventional actions are sure to make kids laugh on every page.
Goofy With a Message: Despite the hilarity, our main character promotes staying true to yourself and spreading kindness which she consistently displays through her self-confidence and willingness to lend a helping "paw." Again- looks can be deceiving- she may seem goofy but she's GENUINE and KIND.
