A fantastic take on young children and their imaginations. This series is wonderful for little girls (and boys). Billie is a wonderful little girl with a huge imagination. Each book takes a new idea, and frames it in a similar way. The book starts off with Billie being dropped off to pre-school by her dad, and end with the dad picking her up. In between Billie ends up on a wonderful imaginative adventure.

Billie and her friend Jack end up on an adventure very similar to Ali Baba and the forty thieves but with the wide eyed excitement of being a small child again.
